At cSPACE, these words are lived through projects like We Are All Treaty People, a collaborative mural by Nathan Meguinis and Doug Driediger, and through community gatherings such as the Four Winds Indigenous Showcase & Market, and most recently, through fireWORKS by ARTICLE 11 at the Historic Fire Hall No.1 - celebrating resilience, showing the power of buffalo and of the people that belong to this land, and how we all share it today.
We are grateful to live and create on the lands of Treaty 7, and to continue learning from those who have always been here.

Alberta Craft Council is offering this fun drop-in workshop in conjunction with cSPACE and Farmers & Makers Market. Matthew Gil will teach you how to create your own butterfly ring made of pipe cleaners.
About the artist: Matthew Gil is currently pursuing a BFA in Painting with a minor in Ceramics at the Alberta University of the Arts. He is part of the Crawlspace Gallery and Artist Collective, where he makes intuitive abstract paintings focusing on composing colour, form, and other visual elements to create harmonic arrangements. He has joined the Alberta Craft Council for the summer and is excited to share fun make’n’take activities!
