Calgary Association of Lifelong Learners is pleased to announce this interest group to be held in Room 310 at cSPACE Marda Loop.

In this weekly course CALL members will experience the health benefits of the meditative practices of, “paying attention on purpose, in the moment, without judgement” as well as the benefits to health and well being of paying attention to the transitory nature of experience. The connection of these processes to the brain will also be discussed.
Facilitator Anne Shaw, MSW is a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience practicing and applying mindfulness meditation in clinical settings and in daily life. “The practice of mindfulness meditation has changed my life.”
