Back Where I Started

Join Pasadena-based international visual artist Phillip Risby as he is celebrated in the first neighbourhood that contributed to the shaping of his artistic vision. As the site of the former King Edward School, which Risby attended as a child, cSPACE Marda Loop is the ideal hub and gallery space to host this eclectic exhibition.

• The artist talk on July 6th will engage with Risby’s unique perspective on Black life on both sides of the border.
• Live music from local musicians Dallas Hayes-Sparks and Miranda Martini.
• Light snacks will be served.
