The cSPACE Board of Directors is Seeking New Members to Join our Dynamic Team of Placemakers

cSPACE Projects is recruiting for two positions on our Board of Directors!

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate a personal or professional commitment to the arts, with a focus on legal sector expertise or experience and success in chairing / co-chairing capital campaign(s) greater than $3M as a volunteer or as a fund development professional. Past or current employment in the legal or fundraising sectors would be valued. We are recruiting widely as our process is driven by the cSPACE Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA) Commitment. You can learn more about our IDEA Commitment here.

cSPACE is Calgary’s top “placemaking” success story. It is simultaneously an arts-focused community hub, historic architectural resource, gathering space, centre for creative entrepreneurship and much more. Of special interest to potential board members, cSPACE is more than just the Marda Loop site. We are a social purpose developer with an eye for future projects throughout Calgary, beyond just under-utilized buildings. Individuals joining the cSPACE board in the coming years will have a strong hand in shaping Calgary’s next placemaking projects.

Potential candidates can submit an expression of interest to cspaceea@cspaceprojects.com. Shortlisted candidates will be asked to write a brief submission about how they identify with our mission.
