DESCRIPTION:What could be better than art-making\, self-discovery and tea? Envision better work-life balance through this creative workshop for adults.\n\n\nDoes your day job make you feel as jumpy as a jackrabbit? Is your desired sense of connection leaving you feeling prickly as a porcupine? Do you feel overburdened like a turtle carrying the world on its back? What changes do you need to truly thrive? \nPerhaps it’s a glimpse into what your Animal Island Utopia might look like. \nIn this workshop\, we guide you through a series of fun art-making exercises designed to gain insight into different aspects of your life — work\, health\, connection and aspirations — and unlock what’s needed to improve and find a better balance between them. \n  \nWhat is a CreativiTEA? \nCreativiTEA is an in-person workshop series for grown-ups created by Tilted Windmills that combines fun\, insightful art-making activities with community-building through creativity. \nEach two-hour CreativiTEA session includes: \n\nA guided creative activity with all art supplies provided\nSocializing and discussion with tea and delicious goodies—also provided\n\n  \nWhat you don’t need to bring to CreativiTEA? \nAny concerns about your perceived “artistic ability” or level of “talent”! The workshops are intended for anyone who wants to explore art-making and dive headfirst into the world of creativity. \nTickets are limited! If you can’t make this workshop\, we encourage you to follow our Eventbrite page to be notified of future workshops. \n\n\n\nYour CreativiTEA facilitators \nAthena splits her time between being a professional visual artist and a creativity coach with Tilted Windmills. By blending her training as both a therapeutic arts practitioner and a life coach\, she helps people tap into their creativity and potentially draw forth unexpected insights from the more visual side of their minds. \nStefan is Tilted Windmills’ clinical counsellor and a self-described wounded healer. He holds a Master’s degree in Social Work (clinical specialization) from the University of Calgary and strongly believes in the power of utilizing creativity as a pathway to help people explore\, discover and grow. \n\n\n\nYour Event Venue Host: \nAtelier Artista @ cSPACE Marda Loop (4th floor) \nAtelier Artista is a skills-based fine art school focused on fostering appreciation and understanding of well-crafted\, beautiful representational artworks through the development of the technical skills necessary to create them. They offer a wide variety of courses in drawing and painting techniques. \nWait!
