She strives to promote the value of children’s art through organizing art events in Scarboro\, Mount Royal\, Marda Loop and Bankview communities. Her goals are to keep children motivated and focused\, and to encourage them to pursue their artistic talents. \nVania Dimitrova is a visual artist\, illustrator and graphic designer with a Master’s Degree in Visual Arts and Illustration\, and a Diploma of Graphic Design from VCAD. SUMMARY:All About Sleeves: Sleeve Pattern Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Riyoko Work/Shop hosts All About Sleeves.  \nThis is a great follow-up to Pattern Making 101 offering skills to continue learning about fitting a beautifully tailored garment. Topics of discussion will include: \n1) proper measuring of the arm and how to alter the pattern accordingly\n2) how to calculate the perfect amount of sleeve cap ease\n3) what to do with those elbow darts!\n4) common and popular sleeve designs \nWorking hands-on\, students will develop their own reference pattern making notes. This course will be jam packed with serious skills. \nNext sessions is: \nTuesday April 16\, 23 & 30 – 6 pm to 9 pm \n*Prerequisite for this class is intermediate experience\, or Patternmaking 101 (https://riyoko.ca/products/patternmaking-103) \n*Class fees include all supplies except rulers\, tape\, and fabric scissors. Rulers are available for purchase from the instructor during the class.
