The connection of these processes to the brain will also be discussed.\nFacilitator Anne Shaw\, MSW is a clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience practicing and applying mindfulness meditation in clinical settings and in daily life. “The practice of mindfulness meditation has changed my life.” \nCome let it impact yours!

Check the front door of the Curious Yellow Shop for hours! \nAwake and Still Drowning\nDustin Harvey\nJan 21 – 27 \nDustin Harvey of Secret Theatre (Halifax) joins us in residence to workshop AWAKE AND STILL DROWNING\, a cautionary fable about the day Nova Scotia becomes an island. It is a tale told through a combination of digital and live performance in which watching and performing signify the high cost of human migration when the exploited ocean takes back what is hers. The experience takes a simple approach to the interactive medium\, allowing audience members to simultaneously play the protagonist’s part\, a flock of little white birds living by the shoreline.
