DESCRIPTION:cSPACE Marda Loop\nLevel 1 Gallery \nThe Calgary Community Painters Society (CCPS) presents A Winter Art Show.\nThe Calgary Community Painters Society was established in 1973 by a small group of local artists for the purpose of exchanging artistic ideas\, providing artistic support for each other and holding an education-based program. Over the years the Calgary Community Painters Society has grown to a current membership of 80 independent Calgary artists. A not-for-profit organization\, our mission is to encourage the growth and development of Calgary’s artists through exhibitions\, workshops and the exchange of artistic knowledge. The group is open to any Calgary artist who is interested in a positive\, sharing artistic forum and is willing to work to achieve the Society’s goals. \nMission Statement\nTo encourage the growth and development of Calgary’s amateur and professional artists through exhibitions\, workshops and the exchange of artistic knowledge.
