Her work will be showcased from June 10 to June 29\, with an opening reception where attendees can meet the artist. SUMMARY:All About Sleeves: Sleeve Pattern Making Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Riyoko Work/Shop hosts All About Sleeves.  \nThis is a great follow-up to Pattern Making 101 offering skills to continue learning about fitting a beautifully tailored garment. Topics of discussion will include: \n1) proper measuring of the arm and how to alter the pattern accordingly\n2) how to calculate the perfect amount of sleeve cap ease\n3) what to do with those elbow darts!\n4) common and popular sleeve designs \nWorking hands-on\, students will develop their own reference pattern making notes. This course will be jam packed with serious skills. \nNext sessions is: \nTuesday April 16\, 23 & 30 – 6 pm to 9 pm \n*Prerequisite for this class is intermediate experience\, or Patternmaking 101 (https://riyoko.ca/products/patternmaking-103) \n*Class fees include all supplies except rulers\, tape\, and fabric scissors. Rulers are available for purchase from the instructor during the class.
