Narratives which change and evolve as the visual story on the canvas reveals itself. Layers painted over layers\, attacks and retreats\, questions sometimes without answers. Books\, music\, theatre\, history and life all providing inspiration\, allowing a work to be what it tells me it wants to be. The work must be free to be what it is within its own universe. On its own terms. They are not mirrors but exist for their own sake\, in their time. They are not pamphlets. All of their soul\, chaos and seduction\, the intent is to look inside at its defining moment. The Story that is written. The viewer\, now\, perceives and reads from their own life.
